Let's Get It Started In Here

So this is the first official posting on Balanced Abode. Currently life is a little off balanced as in too much work and still too little money = not very much play. With buying a house, a bunch of new things to go into the house (fridge, washer/dryer, and some furniture), buying a truck, getting married, going on a honeymoon, and adopting two animals lets just say the year 2011 was more like a robbery on our bank accounts than anything else. Don't get me wrong, it was a great and very monumental year for us but it has left us tired and more than slightly behind on saving up for anything substantial. We are hoping for some tax money to come our way and then maybe we can get a jump on a few things for both the house and the yacht (that's Stephen's drift car by the way- it's huge, hence the nickname).
